Hidden in a small courtyard at the end of a narrow street behind Campo Manin, this amazing spiral staircase is a must-see.
It is one of the best examples of Venetian architecture of this period - between gothic and renaissance. At the top of the staircase you can admire the view of rooftops, bell towers and the domes of Saint Mark's.
After a long restoration it is open to the public again from the end of January 2016. Tickets are available from the website.
