Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli
MapKnown within the city simply as "dei Miracoli", this is one of the most beautiful churches in the city. The church was built between 1481 and 1489 upon commission of Angelo Amadi, who intended it to hold an image of the Virgin and Child and Two Saints in his possession - an image which, after Pope Sextus IV's declaration of the Cult of the Immaculate Conception, had been declared miraculous.
Opening Hours
Open Monday to Saturday 10 am - 5 pm (last entrance 4.45 pm).
Single ticket: 3 Euros.
Ticket giving entry to all Chorus churches for 1 year: 10 Euros.

Designed in the 15th-century by Pietro Lombardo, this gem is off the beaten track but unmissable. Attend a concert here—the acoustics are extraordinary.

Few tourists get here, and so they miss propably the nicest church in Venice, and maybe whole Northern Italy. So not typical for this place - and yet so nice!

A gem of Renaissance architecture. Entry is only 3€ and the interior is fascinating.

I don't like it when they charge a Christian to enter a church to pray

Translate
