Bistrot de Venise
Map
Bistrot de Venise first opened in 1993 and has since become a hangout and meeting place where the figurative arts, poetry and culture combine, simply, with Food and Wine.
Try "cicchetti" at the bar or sit down for a more expensive but very special dinner.

If You don't mind the price, then order a bottle of Cervaro Della Sala 2001 to your seafood - this white wine is something really special! The place deserves to be Michelin-starred

Ravioli was unbelievably awesome. This place is mentioned in the Michelin guide, but not starred. It deserves one though, the service was excellent!

Get the starters but the combo selection to try a bit of all! We shared that with two! Also the steak is suggested! Very nice staff!

Every dish was excellent. Pro tip : however make sure to get at least 3 dishes ( not including dessert ) since the portions are “tasting” portions.

Gourmet Italian kitchen, recommended! Included in the Michelin guide but without a star. It is also open until very late for dinner, when everybody else has closed.

The best cuisine in Venice. Portions are a little bit small but all is extremely testy. Definitely recommend. Tiramisu is excellent also.

In area of S.Marco, where tourists would eat anything, in this "bistrot" they do the finest dining anyway! Great respect.

The turbot comes with a cheese mousse that sounds odd but was divine, I had a fab risotto, puddings are incredible tarte tartin and the chocolate cake with baileys cream is lush. Well recommended
