Trattoria La Misericordia
About 14 Euros for the tourist menu. Good reviews of the food and service.

Impronta Cafe
From a breakfast croissant to a late-night cocktail, Impronta Cafe is always cosy and welcoming. Delicious toasted sandwiches, pasta and the most chocolatey hot chocolate.
Trattoria alle Vignole
Excellent well-priced food. This is a cafeteria-style restaurant - you choose your food at the bar and pay and then help yourself to tablecloth, cutlery, etc. The fish is fresh and there is a big selection. There is a price list behind the counter with the main dishes and a blackboard with specialities. Be aware that the specialities can work out rather more expensive as they are cooked to order and it is worth asking for a price range before ordering so you don't get a shock. There are seats under cover or in the open and there is a view of the lagoon. You can arrive by private boat or vaporetto.

Alla Vedova
Small trattoria on Strada Nova. There are very few tables so it is worth booking in advance. Alternatively you can stand at the bar and have an 'ombra' (small glass of wine) and try the polpette (meat balls) that they are famous for.
Osteria Alle Testiere
This speciality Venetian fish restaurant only has about 20 seats - but they are in high demand so booking is advised.
Vinaria
Great views. Choose from fine dining to delicious (but pricey) pizzas. Locally sourced food. Full menu on the website.
