The Hemingway suite is a to die for. Absolute breathtaking view of the grand canal. Top notch service. Will be back without a second thought.

This is a expensive place to have a drink. Twenty euros for a Bellini but the view is amazing. People watching is good too!

Beautiful hotel. Great value if cashing in starpoints (esp if you get upgraded)! Danieli is a bit more grand due to increased capacity and rooftop but Gritti is more intimate and “exclusive”

What a wonderful Dinner! It's expensive but worth every penny!! Trio beef tartare and meat with foiegras was great..

Beautiful, showstopper of a hotel. If you're not staying here stop in for a peek and a drink at Bar Longhi or Riva Lounge.

This place is one of the best hotels in the world in terms of luxury and service. Stay away from the restaurant and bar though, the food is fine, but about 2-3 times the price you can find elsewhere.

Suites are nicely appointed...even though we'd trade for the view at the Westin!

More than 200 Rubelli silk wall coverings and textiles were recreated and about 280 antique pieces refurbished as part of this estimated $55 million restoration by Starwood’s Luxury Collection.

Fantastic terrace with lovely view, Riva furniture and very nice waiters. The Rossini cocktail is very nice.

From S. Lucia train station take Vaporetta #1 towards Lido. Get off at Giglio. Tickets are 7 euro but suggest purchasing multi-day passes for entire stay.

This place is like Cinderella's stepmother- beautiful of face, but black of heart. ;) Very snobby environment, but the prettiest spot.

An amazing place!!

Breakfast is great, but they will push you towards the buffet. Say no and demand to order a la Carte. Saves you 80 euros.
