Try the Hotel Panorama - reasonable price, comfortable and very friendly staff. Conveniently placed for the boat drop off point.

Check out the Murazzi in Lido of Venice during the Summertime, no tourists, pure enchantment! Rent a bike just when you get to Lido (by boat) & take a 20-30 mins bike in the direction of Murazzi!

the only place in Venice with beaches, there are lot of restaurants there but mostly for tourists with not the best quality of food

Awesome beach, good place to escape the tourists. Just a half hour with the public boat busses :)

Stayed at the Biasatti, really good hotel, eat lunch at Gran Viale but to treat yourself go to the restaurant at the Fortuna on Quattro.
