Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa is a rare jewel in Venice, an amazing building designed in the 16th century by the world-renowned Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The property is located on the Giudecca Island just in front of the San Marco basin. The hotel features warm and welcoming decor with a soft colour palette of pastels. Each of its spacious rooms, beautifully detailed with the finest paint decoration and elegant tapestries, maintain the original atmosphere of this historic structure. The property features the philosophy of the Bauer group hotels, and offers a variety of first-class amenities such as a brand new day Spa, bar, restaurant*, garden, and business centre for up to 160 people with Internet access (free of charge for the first 30 minutes). In addition, a daily private shuttle service takes you to the Bauer hotel in the San Marco district. Originally a famous convent, then converted into a luxury hotel, this Venice accommodation is open seasonally, from March to November.

Lovely breakfast at the Gran Canal. Try to get a table at the side. The best view.

They wanted to charge me €20 for the Internet connection but found there's a free open hotspot named "bauerspa" that works great!

Tried to make a online reservation for a watertaxi, using the website. No reply whatsoever! Do not put it on your website then... A lot of work for the hotel manager! Good luck, location=great!

Club makes too much noise on friday and saturday, although I even like the music.. Calling the reception or concierge did not help, they did not answer... Low service!
