New for 2014 - the Antarctic Pavilion is the first time that a continent has been represented at the Biennale.
In 2014 the pavilion is being hosted by the Fondaco Marcello. It is located on the banks of the Grand Canal, very close to the Palazzo Grassi and between the Academia and Rialto bridges, in front of the San Tom� vaporetto station. Fondaco Marcello can be reached by vaporetto Sant�Angelo; traghetto from San Tom� to Sant�Angelo; and direct taxi boat landing at Pavilion.
