I get that sitting on the grand canal for breakfast comes with a hefty price tag, but if you’re going to have breakfast, a coffee or a drink on the grand canal there are way better values for quality

Staff was nice and helpful (speaking Italian probably helps) and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. Highlight is definitely the buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the canal.

They give complimentary private tours from the hotel to Murano island for the famous glass factory! Wow. Awesome perk. You get a private guide too!

Air conditioning problem seems to be solved, it was perfect. Great great view, esp. on the variois terraces. Breakfast buffet was a bit disapointing though, no proper bread selection.

Great location in Venice has some tradeoffs being a very old hotel. Internationally-minded staff and service ok. Stunning Grand Canal view from breakfast/dining room, try to get rooms on the same side

even if you don't stay here, it is the best place for a drink at sunset or sunrise breakfast on the terrace on the water...

Nice hotel*. If they would turn on the air conditioning. You open the windows to cool the room to sleep, and the mosquitoes keep you awake all night! Lose sleep from mosquitoes or heat? Take a pick.
