An absolute must see in Venice. If your weary from the masses of people in Venice this is worth the €20 to see the palace and be sure to show your student card if you are one as the price goes down a fair bit. Beautiful architecture to be seen and a nice bit of Venetian history to find here during your stay and I was in awe of some of the ceilings in the room it was fantastic. You also walk through the bridge of sighs which is a cool experience.

Amazing place but I recommend the following: 1. Buy your tickets beforehand. Buying tickets will cost you at least 20min wait in a line filled with frustrated folks. 2. Take a guide (audio guide, book or actual guide) because the explanation on site are limited. Otherwise a must see..

Nice place to visit, with very nice painting and building . However allow an extra hour to visit the place and be sure to go early enough. We went a 4pm and we're told it takes about 90 minutes to visit the whole place. However after 60 minutes we were asked to leave as the place was closing (30 minutes earlier than told). When you pay 40€ to get in and rush through things and can't finish the visit because it is closing earlier than told, it ruins the entire experience.

An absolutely amazing structure, and part of Venetian history for the best part of a thousand years. There was so much to see and so much history to drink in. The Italians love a ceiling - no artex in here. The grand chamber is out of this world, and unreal in terms of size and the prisons give it an eerie vibe. Make sure you pre-book your tickets and jump 90% of the queues. It’s a bit of a faff, but when you find the shorter queue it goes much quicker.

Can I give ten stars? I lived in Rome and Florence for a while and thought nothing could have shocked me anymore. But not this time. Every room in this palace are so extremely gorgeous that I couldn't stop wowing for even one sec. I love the palace more than the Vatican's museum.
