Generator Venice stands on the waterfront of the island of Giudecca, one short stop on the Vapporetto from Piazza San Marco. This hostel was originally a warehouse, so the building blends history and character with contemporary design features.

Inside the Generator Venice hostel you’ll find luxurious mosaic floors, a glass chandelier and an imposing stone fireplace. Public spaces are subtly split into intimate and open-plan areas – all surrounding the bar and café. Every room has a view of either the gardens, Lido, Grande Canal or the iconic San Marco. Not bad for a hostel, aye?

Best hostel I've ever stayed. They have everything that a traveler would need, good atmosphere. Confortable beds, with plugs, personal light and clean. Deff I recommend it. Close to the boat station

One of the best hostels! It seems they've thought about everything you may need. Nice decoration, good breakfast, wonderful location and view from the window:) Must stay.

Great hostel in Venice. Considering it's location on a different island, only accessible by boat, remember buying at least a 24-hour boat pass. You'll need it!

Great place to stay, very clean, djs, bar downstairs and multilingual service. Room to leave luggage after checkout is for free and so is wifi. Dont bother to get the €3.50 breakfast.

A pretty decent hostel in Venice.Trendy interiors at the restaurant and lounge.Friendly staff and the place is 30 min away from Santa Lucia Station.

Fabulous hostel! Quite Guidecca island with great views across Venice horizon. Short ferry. Great food and atmosphere. Dorms are cramped yet functional. Hugely recommend

A great hostel. It's easy to get in touch with other people in the big bar area. OK breakfast too.

There is this nice place on the left of the hostel. The cost of food is very reasonable. The additional benefit of having your meal there is the amazing view.-Lavanya (UAE)

Nice place to stay in Venice & good value for money if you want to stay in an island. Friendly staff, good vibe. Tip: there is no way to get here from the other islands except by public river taxi.
