You should definitely see these three here; Michelangelo's David and Prisoners, Giambologna's Rape of the Sabines, Botticelli's Madonna and Child and Madonna of the Sea.

Finest Venetian art. 12€ full price. audio guide 6€ is some how expensive but 2 can use it at the same time

Amazing gallery. Totally worth a visit. Biggest oil painting is here, most pieces are religious, but interesting stuff is found in them

Great art museum with incredible collection of Italian paintings. One of must see museums in Venice.

In the district of Dorsoduro, be sure to visit two important permanent art exhibitions: the Peggy Guggenheim Gallery of Modern Art and the Accademia Gallery.

Set aside an entire day to see the art collection. This museum is very large and can be overwhelming.

Amazingly historical art pieces by extremely famous and influential Venetian artists. Worth a visit!

Their permanent collection is just simply AMAZING. Must visit here when you come to Venice!

From 7 Sep Tintoretto collection. Classic Italian art (religious part mostly)

Beautiful examples of pre-renaissance and Renaissance art from the masters of Venice.

A huge and historical gallery exhibiting great fine art of Venice.

get a map since the collection is not arranged in any logical order

13th Accademia Gallery (Visitors: 320.507)Today you can admire there a complete exhibition of painters representing the Venetian art from XIV to XVII centuries.

I usually enjoy museums and art, but this gallery was boring

Classical art in Venice. Here you can see Vitruvian Man by Leonardo

Historic art

Vast amount of early masterpieces. Highly recommend this to art historians

Preservation quality of the art is amazingly consistent.

You need an audioguide here: no explanations in the halls, not so much logic in the organization .

I wouldn't have been disappointed if I skipped this. There's only so many religious paintings one can handle. Took about 1 hour to see everything.
