Super crazy tourists all over! Venture closer between San Marco and the train station those areas are more empty. Take a local boat to murano for a day in evening if u need a bit of space!

Venice is an open-air museum that seems to float on its lagoon. Celebrated throughout the world for its singular beauty, Venice and its lagoon were added to the list of UNESCO W.H.S. in 1987.

The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists such as Giorgione,Titian,Tintoretto and Veronese

One of the miste beautiful cities in the world. Also known as the city of water or the city of bridges. Take a water taxi or a gondola to have the best experience possible in Venice.

I love this place. Everything is worth exploring. Venice carnivale is amazing. So many wonderful masks and outfits.

A must see, but I recommend heading out past the tourist streets to get a proper feeling of the city. Grab a map and go explore! Seems like a ghost town at times but beautiful and historic.

Visit by night Venice is just mesmerizing. Worth seeing la fenice, San Marco basilic, Scuola grande di San rocco, its casino, the doge's Palace and the list goes on!!

Better to take a water bus to see more of Venice. The ticket is valid for 24 hours so you can hop off when you see something you like and explore.

Go by vaporetto to Giudeca after finishing your S. Marco's tour. You can enjoy your Spritz or coffee in ten minutes and get rid of the crowds. Plus, you get a beautiful view.

Visiting Venezia is a must when in Italy, but it's quite enough to spend the day there to check out everything, no need to book a hotel.

Charming city, you'll love it at first sight! Be warned though that it's full of different temptations which may fall heavy on your wallet.

San Marco squere, waterbuses, lido beach, Murano and Burano island, tower, hot weather, streets, open shops until late night. Perfect!

Absolutely picturesque city! Lots of tourists but it pays off with its beauty. Visit also Verona for 1 day trip in case you want to see additional destinations

The fresh food and fish markets at Rialto are good fun and where the locals shop - just head past all the trinket gear and you'll find them. Amazing range of fish and perfect if self catering!

Keep a tourist map only as a back-up. There's a certain magic to wandering the intricate nooks and crannies of the city and stumbling on restaurants and hidden gem stores you wouldn't find usually.

Among some other Italian cities (including Roma, Firenze, Pisa and Milan) my favourite one. Funnily enough it was way much cheaper - especially accommodation, souvenirs and food.
