Although it is true that directions and gallery/exhibition information are somehow confusing the Archaeological Museum and the adjacent Correr Museum is great. You need a little patience to figure out how exhibitions and individual displays are organized but if you're a fan (like me) it shouldn't be a major problem. You get a great look at ancient times through amazing artifacts. Well worth the time and effort.

Just as a part of museum correr, you have to come in through the previous museum, and the exhibition is organized in a confusing way.

This museum is attached to the Correr Museum. When you visit the Correr, you'll be able to go to the Archeologico Museum as well. Not much of interest to see here if you've been to the other popular museums in Italy already.

Mediocre museum which only takes about half an hour to finish. Some of the Roman sculptures were quite iconic, especially the one group of Roman emperors' busts.

Difficult to find. Everyone directs you to the Correct Museum even when you have a museum pass. I could not find the entrance even after looking both in the Corner Museum and in the area. I attempted to follow the signs for it but there is a police station there and they also point you back to the Correct Museum

Any ticket from one of the four museo in St. Marco Square allows you to visit all four. So don't get in the long line at the Doge Palace. Go to the Archaeology museo with almost no wait.
