If you are between 14-29 ask about the Rolling Venice pass - 4 euros for the card and 20 euros for 72 hours of unlimited vaporetti transport plus potential itineraries and reduced fees and discounts.

You'll find buses to a lot of places including Cortina. May save you time and/or hassle compared to trains if you are planning to go to the mountains from Venice.

Thats where you'd get the tram to Mestre, but to the airport, shuttle to Treviso and vaporetto to the islands. If you need to take vaporetto more often, do buy a pass because a single ticket is €7,50

To get to the airport from here, make sure you take the ATVO bus that goes directly to VCE. Not the ACTV no.5 bus which is less comfortable, crowded and makes many stops. Same price.

Night buses run all night! If you park your car or get your hotel in Mestre you can go back anytime.

You can use the AVM Venezia app to buy tickets for vaporetto and airport bus instead of waiting in queues

If you arrive early, try to park on the square. Way cheaper than indoor CarParks. 2€/h

From bus station go to left behind bridge, go for last vaporetto stop and find COOP supermarket, where you find Cola as cheap as 1.29 euro for 1L. Good price

Go to the ACTV central station and get a multiple day pass for the vaporettos. I bought the 72 day pass which is cheaper if you consider that each transportation costs 6,30€ for the tourists.
